Advanced Placement Mathematics
Chapter Tests and Review Exercises
by George Best
This new book is intended to be used as a resource in an introductory calculus course. A rich
collection of review exercises and chapter tests, the book is designed to supplement any
calculus text that is aligned with the College Board’s AP Course Description for AB and BC calculus .
The Chapter 1 review exercises cover the prerequisite function ideas. Chapters 2-9 cover the core
calculus concepts: derivatives and their applications, integrals and their applications, differential
equations and slope fields. Chapters 10-12 cover more advanced BC- only topics: parametric,
vector, and polar functions and series.
The chapter tests include multiple-choice and free-response questions similar to those found on the
AB and BC examinations. Cumulative in nature the important calculus concepts are continually tested
once the ideas have been introduced. |
